Lübeck gives approval for vessel lay up

THE German shipping authority in Lübeck has granted the first approval for a ship to be laid up in the Geltinger Bucht area of the Baltic Sea.
The area in the very north-east of Germany, covering 9.2 sq km, offers space for 50 vessels up to 300 m in length, said Henning Dierken, head of WSA Lübeck.
