On the rocks Tanker grounded off Crete

SALVORS were on Friday planning a weekend attempt to refloat a tanker stranded on the southeast coast of Crete, writes Nigel Lowry in Athens

The 12,733 dwt tanker Athina

(pictured) was in ballast when it grounded on a rocky shoreline just over two miles from Kali Limenes.
