REQUESTS FOR TENDER - AUSTRALIAN MARITIME SAFETY AUTHORITY

The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) is seeking input from service providers into developing Requests for Tender for Aids to Navigation (AtoN) Maintenance Services and an Emergency Towage Vessel (ETV) capability, to be released in March and April 2013.

AMSA provides an AtoN network comprising a range of conventional and electronic aids located around the Australian coastline. It also manages the ETV capability in the Torres Strait and northern Great Barrier Reef.

Contracts for the two services are due for renewal in mid-2014.

We would like to enter into discussions and conduct non-mandatory meetings with providers about the planned tenders. The intention is to review service provision models and get market feedback to enable us to prepare well-informed Requests for Tender and draft contracts.

More details are available at http://www.amsa.gov.au/About_AMSA/corporate_information/Tenders/index.asp

All enquiries can be directed to AtoN-ETV.Tender@amsa.gov.au.
