Equinor cleans up hurricane-damaged oil terminal in Bahamas
The South Riding Point storage and transhipment terminal has a storage capacity of 6.75m barrels of crude and condensate. When the hurricane hit, 1.8m barrels of oil were stored in three tanks
‘A response team continues to assess the damage and plan the recovery work,’ Equinor said. ‘Initial recovery assets have been deployed and more machinery and equipment is being added.’
