MSC attributes sulphur violation to coronavirus-related scrubber delays
Geneva-based carrier says its boxship MSC Joanna, which was punished by UAE for carrying non-compliant fuel, has been subject to shipyard delays with the scrubber installation scheduled for June 2020
MSC claims its entire fleet is fully committed to implementing the International Maritime Organization’s regulation, with all vessels requiring compliant fuel supplied ahead of the effective date
