Petronas suspends operations in giant Iraqi oil field
The Malaysian national oil company cited concerns about the coronavirus pandemic when announcing its decision to evacuate staff from the Garraf oil field. Operations in the field will be suspended until further notice, it said
In March 2019, the affected Garraf oil field pumped on average 90,000 barrels per day of crude, 30% of which accrues to a Japex-led consortium
