Hull and machinery claims down, Cefor data shows

Total losses hit another record low in first half of 2020, but Nordic trade association warns of potential for pandemic-related marine claims

Hull and machinery has so far taken only a modest hit from coronavirus, with P&I and loss of hire worst hit, according to the latest half-yearly statistical report from Cefor. Total losses, claims costs and claims frequency are all down, but that probably reflects reduced activity
