Cargo owners are being asked to take more responsibility for ensuring poorly packed and dangerous goods do not make their way into the supply chain
The damage done by misdeclared and badly stuffed containers contributes to losses of $6bn a year by some estimates. Those benefiting from the transport of those goods have a responsibility to ensure their suppliers adhere to guidelines
