Indonesia may relax coal export ban
Indonesian Coal Mining Association said ban was introduced ‘hastily’ and may disrupt monthly coal production volumes of around 38m to 40m tonnes
About 10% of worldwide dry bulk shipping demand may be adversely affected if the total export ban continues. But the policy could drive up coal prices further and create demand for long-haul exports from Colombia and the US
