BP joins Maersk in backing biofuel start-up
The investment from BP is part of the energy major’s plan to deliver around 100,000 barrels per day of biofuels by 2030
WasteFuel, a start-up planning to develop a global network of plants to convert municipal and agricultural waste into bio-methanol, had already received backing from Maersk to support its methanol orders, but the latest $10m injection from BP will expand the operation in Dubai
