Port of Long Beach chief Cordero not worried about soft June figures
Three months of consecutive volume gains across the San Pedro Bay port complex end in June
Strong June figures in the port of Los Angeles came at the expense of the adjacent port of Long Beach, and June volumes across the port complex were lower than in May. Port of Long Beach executive director Mario Cordero is not worried about the soft figures, and is optimistic that the tentative labour deal will help bring back cargo to the port
