HMM in talks to become new alliance member

Hyundai Merchant Marine has been in discussions with the Ocean Alliance and The Alliance regarding future membership, with its strategic cooperation with 2M due for renewal in 2020. Industry sources tell Lloyd’s List that the Korean carrier sees the rollout of its 20 ULCs providing the competence to switch consortia.
