Limetree Bay refinery re-start will boost low sulphur supply at Caribbean hub
The refinery is well-situated to process the growing supply of light sweet crude from the US Gulf Coast and supply product into growing end markets in the Caribbean, South America, and Africa. New facilities at the ex-Hovensa refinery in St Croix, US Virgin Islands include low sulphur fuel production capacity
The terminal can hold 34m barrels in 167 storage tanks and boasts deepwater access to 11 docks including the offshore SPM buoy, which can load and discharge VLCCs
