Maersk ‘surprised’ by strong uptake of spot product

Container line confirms that its online spot booking product with cargo loading guarantee has had a positive effect on overbookings and rollovers in its first six months. It has recorded overbooking reductions of 75% compared with a traditional model, and rolling of shipments below 1.5%
