Petronas and Shenergy sign long-term LNG offtake and shipping tie-up
The duo agree a heads of agreement for 1.5m tonnes per annum of LNG sale and purchase spanning 12 years from 2022. The deal also includes a shipping collaboration and follows Petronas’ third breakbulk ship-to-ship transfer operation in Brunei Bay last October
The preliminary deal is for 1.5m tonnes per annum of liquefied natural gas to be supplied to the Wuhaogou terminal, which has historically taken in breakbulk cargoes from larger terminals
