Indonesia to roll out eased coal and crude palm oil cabotage rules in May
Latest version of cabotage rules allows foreign-owned tonnage to be chartered in to carry coal and CPO exports. The rules focus on mandating Indonesian control but the ultimate goal is to develop a 100% Indonesia-flagged fleet
Technical guidelines for implementing the new rules are expected to be drawn up by the end of this month
