ICTSI warns on lockdown's impact at Manila

The capital city of the Philippines has been placed into a month-long quarantine to help prevent the spread of coronavirus. However, this has made it difficult to pick up containers and many are not being collected as some companies are unable to run operations normally

ICTSI has suggested that customers transfer boxes that cannot be collected to its inland container depots, freeing up space at the port as congestion starts to become more serious
