Navios Partners orders new boxships after $100m quarterly profit

The new acquisitions follow five dry bulk ships purchased during the second quarter of the year and will take the company’s fleet to above 100 vessels

The company has placed an order of four plus two 5,300 teu boxships and will pay for $61.6m for each of them. The order comes on the back of a $236.6m net profit for the first half of 2021
